This workshop helps your dog learn to meet other dogs while on leash and teaches you how to keep your dog calm in situations that might come up on a walk. By addressing barking and lunging then reinforcing calmness, your dog can learn to interact with other dogs or distractions in a positive way. RSVP required.

Living in San Diego allows us to be out and about year round. Taking our dogs with us when we go to a market or café should be a relaxing experience for us and a fun adventure for your dog. Besides being an excellent bonding exercise, the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen title is a prerequisite for many therapy dog certifications, as well as a great introduction to more advanced dog sports and activities. Some homeowners’ insurance programs even offer discounts for CGC dogs and an increasing number of apartments and condos see CGC awards as a major bonus for becoming a resident.

SPECIAL: The test and completion ribbon are included with this workshop and available after the workshop to anyone who feels ready (must pass the test to take home ribbon/title). RSVP required as space is limited.
