Living with a dog who feels constantly on can be exhausting. Walks are chaotic, commands fly right over their heads, and it can feel like your dog’s energy is running the show instead of you. This isn’t a lack of effort or exercise; it’s a lack of impulse control and settling skills, which can be taught. If you’re ready to turn all that energy into focus and cooperation, you’re in the right place.

Workshops
Scent Training Workshop
Engaging your dog’s powerful sense of smell gives them mental stimulation that’s just as tiring (if not more so) than physical exercise, helping burn excess energy in a fun way. This workshop lets your dog practice focus and problem-solving, which builds confidence and impulse control while giving them a productive outlet that reduces frantic energy.
Paddleboarding Workshop
Our high-energy dogs are happy and fulfilled when they’re doing something fun! Join us on Mission Bay to learn how to include your dog in this enjoyable outdoor activity. They’ll sleep like rocks after enjoying your company on the water.
Loose Leash Walking Workshop
In this workshop you’ll work on effective leash skills so walks become calmer, more controlled experiences instead of battles of strength or attention. Practicing with guidance in a real-world distraction environment helps your high-energy dog learn to walk politely beside you, reducing pulling and frustration and sharpening impulse control around exciting sights and smells.
Cultivating Calm Workshop
This workshop teaches techniques to help your dog relax and settle even when excitement or stress levels are high, so you’re not stuck with a dog who’s constantly “on.” You’ll learn practical ways to manage fear and impulse control, helping a high-energy pup make the shift from reactive to more composed behavior, which can make daily life far more enjoyable for both of you.
Dining Out With Your Dog Workshop
This workshop takes training into real-life public settings, helping your dog learn to stay calm and well-behaved around food, people, and activity instead of getting overly excited or reactive. It’s a great way to build impulse control and polite manners in high-stimulus environments, so everyday outings like café visits can feel more peaceful and enjoyable together.
From the trainer…
“All my life I rescued dogs from shelters that were deemed unadoptable or untrainable. Through consistent training I was able to help even the most difficult dogs shine onstage and in a home. I truly believe that there is no such thing as a bad dog. With a bit of knowledge and some work, I believe every dog has the potential to be a perfect pet.”
