You’re not alone! This is one of the most common issues we deal with. Whether your dog is just overexcited to greet others, anxious and trying to warn others away, or preying on wildlife, we have a practical solution that fits your dog and situation.

Leash Reactivity Package

This is a 3 lesson package that takes place wherever you’re having issues, usually starting at your home/neighborhood.

1st Lesson: During this lesson we focus on identifying the root cause of your dogs behavior, define steps to help your dog feel more relaxed while on leash and start practicing. Sometimes this is all dogs need and you can choose to only purchase one lesson. But if you aren’t feeling confident on your own, you can continue.

2nd Lesson: During this lesson, the trainer brings his personal dogs to help yours! Applying what we learned from the first lesson, we challenge you and your dog to exercise calmness when walking near, past, or alongside other calm, well-trained dogs. If your dog is nervous, the other calm dogs help give them confidence. If your dog is preying, it creates social pressure to go along with the pack rather than act out.

3rd Lesson: During this lesson we meet where we know your dog will encounter plenty of other dogs or prey. Your dog will feel confident when you feel confident, and we normalize the presence of other dogs or prey and reward them with security, treats, or positive social engagement.

Leash Reactivity Workshop

This hands-on, group workshop helps your dog learn to meet other dogs and common outdoor triggers while on leash, and teaches you how to keep your dog calm and confident in situations you encounter on everyday walks. You and your dog will work together in real-world practice scenarios, guided step-by-step by an experienced trainer who provides expert feedback and coaching as you go.

Rather than strictly talking about concepts, this session emphasizes active practice with your dog on leash: you’ll learn how to address barking, lunging, fearful bolting, and over-excitement, replace those behaviors with calm alternatives, and reinforce positive responses in the presence of distractions. The trainer will help you refine timing, body language, and reinforcement so you can apply these skills outside of class on your own walks.

By the end of the workshop, you and your dog will have practical strategies and real-world experience for navigating triggers, increasing your dog’s confidence, and making walks more enjoyable and under control for both of you.

Free Pack Walks

Joining our pack walks is a practical next step to help your dog maintain and strengthen the skills you learn. Pack walks provide controlled, real-world exposure to other dogs, allowing your dog to practice calm, neutral behavior without the pressure of direct interaction.

This regular, predictable exposure helps normalize the presence of other dogs, reduces the likelihood of setbacks, and reinforces the habits you’ve already built. Consistency is key! Ongoing practice in a structured environment makes calm walking the default, not just something your dog can do occasionally or when the distractions are minimal.

Best of all, the walks are routine and free! Some people even decide to start with the pack walk when they already know their dog is all bark and no bite, or just use the opportunity to meet the trainer for the first time and see if you feel good about the way he works before investing further.

From the trainer…

All my life I rescued dogs from shelters that were deemed unadoptable or untrainable. Through consistent training I was able to help even the most difficult dogs shine onstage and in a home. I truly believe that there is no such thing as a bad dog. With a bit of knowledge and some work, I believe every dog has the potential to be a perfect pet.
